Snow, snow, snow!
It started snowing after Christmas and just couldn't seem to stop! One Sunday, they even cancelled services at our church. The only way we were able to make it there, was one of our neighbors saw how snowed in our driveway was and he came and used his snowblower on it. But we did enjoy our snow day!
And it was still falling! This is certainly the coldest and snowiest winter we have had since the late 80s-early 90s. We had such a cold spell that our water tank froze. Thankfully, my brother-in-law, Jory, was coming to town and he dove in our water tank to fix the problem. (You should have seen me and Eric out there at night when it first froze. I was holding the ladder and rope (that was attatched to Eric) and Eric was in the tank with an axe trying to chop out the ice and the float. It gave us both a good scare when the ice finally did break and fell out from under Eric's feet a good 1 and 1/2 feet!
Well, we are on to spring now. We loved the snow, but are looking forward to warm weather!
