St Augustine

Two weekends ago, Eric, Benaiah and I visited the Castillo de San Marcos in St Augustine, Florida. The Castillo is a fortress the Spanish built during the 1600's, but has been used also by the British and the US.
We toured all of the rooms, and also were able to watch them fire the cannon at 3 p.m. I can't imagine how hot the guards must have been in those costumes! The temperature was over 100 degrees and the humidity was close to 100 percent too.
We also visited the Ripley's Believe It or Not museum.
