Benaiah and Noelle were supervising our wood splitting in our driveway. Tough job!
We have a wood burning furnace, which heats the in-floor heating in our house. This monster gobbles up 12 cords of wood each year! Eric is looking for a more efficient system to heat with.

Our summer is full of MUCH wood cutting. We do enjoy getting out in the woods though. The kids catch wood frogs, look for mushrooms and enjoy the wild ride in the truck when we're yanking the logs onto the road.
